CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

My study program this year-my third year of career- is a little bit lighter than previous years, because I advanced and homologated some subjects of my curriculum. That’s doesn’t mean that I have the perfect study program or it’s being easier for me. In fact, sometimes I feel mentally overwhelmed for the requirement, self-demanding and the many things I have to do outside the university.

As for my curriculum, I like the subjects in general. The problem is I can’t fully enjoy the most important subjects at all, because it should be taught in the university workshop, not at home. I wouldn't change the curriculum, but I need a change in a modality of the classes, right now!

Sometimes the workload it’s heavy, but I’m lucky with my professors; in the most of the time they’re comprehensive persons, and I can take the times to organize myself better and do the things right. As for the length of the career I think it’s fine. In fact, I have just one year left in my career, so I feel motivated to finish.

Well, all the people who study arts in JGM campus, know that the infrastructure isn’t the best. I see it and is like a dark warehouse. But apart from that, we are supposed to have all basic things to do our projects in the workshops.

In my major we use technological device like a support, it’s a kind of tool to facilitate some process. Obviously in pandemic context everything it reduced to a computer, but we usually work with our hands.

Finally, teaching methods aren't always the best. Sometimes it’s hard to understand what the teacher says or expects from the students. I think it’s partly virtuality's fault, but I also understand the difficulty of teaching in this context, they cannot focus in each student.
