About my favorite concert

 

The best concert I ever had it was in 2019 at the Teatro Coliseo, near the Palacio la Moneda. I saw one of my favorite music bands when I was a teenager; Deftones.

Deftones is a group of alternative metal formed by 5 members, being Chino Moreno the vocalist. I think they have a beautiful and dark songwriting -even today -, are highlighted concept like loneliness, internalization of ourselves and emotional darkness. But at the same time, they have a pleasant sonority and use words in a very sensitive way.

One of the things I most liked was the atmosphere in that place; a lot of lights and smoke that moved with the intensity of the music, including the colors and sensation that this produced. I remember this concert as a dream; saw Chino Moreno so close to me and I thought “OMG, THIS MEN IS MY GOD!” haha, I really felt like I was dying and coming back to life again.  In addition, the quality of the musicians and their show was very, very high. So, I enjoyed every part of that concert.

Finally, I also remember the moment when they played the song “sextape”- a slow song- , my boyfriend hugged me and I cried with emotion and love <3
