How can my major make the world a better place

 

I believe that everything we do with good intentions can be a contribution to our environment. In case of my major, engraving and graphics methods in generally, always been a part of the urban thing, of the context display and different ideas manifesting. Although see it far away I feel part of this process, exploring collective ideas and trying to capture them in my work. I think in my case, the contribution is in sensitive side, maybe manifest ideas and contexts that affecting the community, and trying to evidence it, as well as the people’s needs as we environment. In my opinion, culture is base of any society, and we as art students have a duty of reflection about that, leave a register about what is happening and to highlight realities that are often marginalized from what we are commonly accustomed to seeing. This is what I think my major, as well as my creative classmates, is the base of a society can start to heal.
